A Voice Crying

The only hope for this nation and for our world is the Church of The Lord Jesus Christ. The pure fact that the Church is still here is proof enough that God is not done with us yet. God has called the Church to be a Voice, “…A Voice Crying”. He has not called us to be silent; He has not called us to be complacent; He has not called us to be behind the shadows and to just exist. However, one of the greatest obstacles the Church faces is the same spirit that John The Baptist faced–The Spirit Of Religion.

Religion, in Jesus’ day was trying to take over the Kingdom of God by force. But they saw it being taken away by John The Baptist. The violent rose up and their violence actually took Jesus to the cross. But, was it over? No! Absolutely not! Jesus rose again! The Holy Spirit was poured out on the Day Of Pentecost. The Church was born! The Church kept growing by leaps and bounds and is still encompassing the world. Even today, the violent are still trying to take the Kingdom Of God by force. Religion tries to raise it’s ugly head, but the greatest force of all is the message of Jesus Christ. It still saves to the uttermost! It’s time for the Church to rise up against religion.
